Understanding

As part of some refinement of our own identity we made a short film with help of Cameron Murray. It’s in the cutting-room as we speak, and we hope to have something to show on it by next week. In the meantime, here’s a few stills from the day.

—I’ve always had an interest in all things related to cameras. I find these days I am constantly attempting to recreate the look and the feeling that of film in digital images. Stay tuned for more images out of this baby after our shoot on Saturday for some SouthSouthWest company materials.

Head On

Stumbled across this mixed up mind map of emotional states while skimming through an old notebook over the weekend. Note the title and date, just before we established Southsouthwest. Not really sure if this makes any more sense now than it did then, but 3 and a bit years on and I can safely say it’s been a heady mix of all of these along the way, but ultimately a lot more rewarding, enjoyable and exciting than I had ever imagined. Let the good times roll.
