Flowing on from the local perspectives the Rebrand Tasmania blog has attracted, we’ve been thinking lately about what it might all mean to someone who may not have lived in or even visited Tasmania. What we hope to achieve with this project is that through a wide open discussion, we draw together a range of ideas and shape them into a brand that is forward-looking and places Tasmania on the global stage, through design. To help build this picture, we would love to hear from people outside of the state and outside the nation. Hello world – can you hear me!
If there are any identity designers or design writers, based inside/outside of Australia that would be prepared to write a short piece for the blog, we would love to hear your thoughts on what the current identity communicates to a non-Tasmanian and what a new identity should. More generally we would love to hear ideas/thoughts/perspectives from anyone inside or outside of Australia on Tasmania, place branding, our process or anything else that the discussion throws up.
