Confines Group Show

Had a bit of fun putting together my piece for the Confines show on the Gold Coast. Responding to the show’s name/theme of confines, I looked out of the box and into the blue – a place that always makes me fell unconfined. The show opens December 9 in Maroochydore and then moves to Brisbane on the December 16.

Thanks GC massive

We had a rad time on the Gold Coast this weekend just gone. We flew into a mad, petrol guzzling Gold Coast with the Indy race on, but were thoroughly looked after by Matt Haynes and his entourage of A/D Conference organisers.

There was a host of really inspiring speakers, with Dare Jennings leading the pack with a really insightful talk on his life and businesses including Mambo and Deus ex Machina.

Thanks again to all involved – see you next time! Adam and Andy.

20 Questions

We’re proud to be speaking at the Analogue Digital Creative Conference in a few weeks and we’d love to make our talk valuable to you. Therefore, we’re asking for questions from you that you’d like to see us answer on the night. Email us, tweet us, spam us — whatever! Just get it to us and we’ll answer it live and direct.

Kinshasa One Two

Kinshasa One Two, an album created by a collective of producers alongside contemporary Congolese musicians to be released on Warp records together as DRC Music. Nice project headed up by Damon Albarn in collaboration with contemporary musicians from the Democratic Republic of Congo with all proceeds going to Oxfam and their work in the DRC. Win, win, win.

Diamonds in the Rough

Good friend and ‘Iconic wanna-be-creative-megatron Studio Pip and Co.’ a.k.a Andrew Ashton is putting on a show of print design ephemera from over the years. By the looks of it, something of ours has made it into the pile. Show opens tomorrow night September 1st 2011 at Lamington Drive, Melbourne. See you there for one.

Intern

We’re seeking a passionate, enthusiastic and driven intern, looking to challenge us and be challenged on a broad mix of projects in the coming month(s).

Over the past couple of months we’ve enjoyed having this position filled by a talented German student studying in Australia, Hendrik Schneider. Hendrik brought a fresh attitude to the studio, a uniquely German approach and a fair share of laughs (He’s also is also widely recognised as a dead ringer for Aesop Rock). We’re looking for another someone as talented and interesting as Hendrik, if this is you please get in touch with a bit about yourself and a small selection of what it is you do.

All the best Hendrik, it’s been great.
