As a bright new start-up, the brief this client gave us was to take an innovative product idea and turn it into a brand. The result was KeepCup-the world’s first barista-standard reusable coffee cup. Positioning the brand as part of the new wave of green product innovations, the strategy was about appealing to the modern day desire for smarter, less wasteful products. The name and identity were intentionally created to be friendly and familiar, unpacking the basic concept in simple terms.

Pitching to the mainstream meant a design style that was super-clean, didn’t try too hard and let the product speak for itself. Since launch, KeepCup has sold over 250,000 units internationally and Southsouthwest is now an ongoing marketing partner helping to take the business to the next level.
