Following our successful redesign of Sanctuary magazine two years ago, the ATA recently invited us to continue the process of evolution. Built upon their commendable decision to begin printing on a fully uncoated, FSC certified stock, the scope of the update was to introduce some refreshed typography and undertake a general template rethink, to accommodate new types of content that had been developed.

The introduction of Tiempos as a text font and Avenir for headlines, along with several new templates for additional sections has resulted in a lighter, more digestible read, that also feels nice and weighty on the new uncoated paper.
